What a lucky man I am...

My wife is a hard woman to please. She is tough, smart as a whip, good looking and feisty. She is really aware of her own mind and because of this awareness, doesn’t really suffer fools. She will provide encouragement if she thinks it is deserved but will not hold back on calling anyone if deserved either. She is staggeringly adept at seeing and using a situation to get the best results for all.

She quite literally is the most intelligent person I know. I pale compared to her. For instance, her knowledge of words is incredible. She has an ability to be able to read and absorb anything much quicker than anyone I’ve ever met. I’ve seen her read a 500 page novel in a few hours then give me a review of it that would leave professionals humbled. She knows what she likes and what she doesn’t and has no hesitation in saying so.

The thing I’m continually staggered by is how much we have in common. Sure, our differences help define our individual personalities but it’s our commonality that keeps things fresh and interesting for both of us. We work hard at being good for and to each other. There are times when I know neither of us actually feels like being sociable or hospitable. In some homes, this would be the cause of much trouble and strife, but in our house, we simply indulge ourselves and get over it. It is surprising how little this happens. I think knowing we both can get to the ‘I just want to hide under the blanket for a while’ state without having to explain ourselves is enough to make us not do this.

Yep, my wife is a bloody hard woman to please. But I feel so lucky and fortunate that I have no problems pleasing her. She makes the good days great and the bad days better.

Sally,

We should be ourselves, and if people don't like it, in my opinion that is their loss, not mine.

Absolutely. Agree 100%

Ahh thanks Maso, you are far to kind! Lets hope his guide dog shoves him in my drection soon eh!

With humour like this, you should have 'em lined up, Sally.

Doc,

Smacks you up side the head when you need it, and fights like a she-wolf when you are threatened/quote]

For the most part, you're right about her, mate. She calls me out when I need it and can be very protective without being insincere.

Actually, she will point them out to me if I don't see them.

IG,

it radiates of love for her

Thanks so much. I'm a lucky man...
