Bloody annoying...
Published on December 10, 2006 By dynamaso In Blogging
The last few articles I've put up here, despite selecting the 'Display in Forums' selection, are NOT showing in the Forums. Consequentely, a lot of my regular readers, who pretty much surf the Forums, are missing my articles. I'm not so egotistical to think they would be upset because of this but I am wondering what the heck is going on. Can anyone give me any ideas as to how this problem can be fixed?

I just tried to reproduce the problem with no luck. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

Interesting, once I responded it shows up.

For now, do like LW and do the "forum appearance dot" comment after your articles.

Heh, what I know about computers you could put in half a thimble -if that much. I'm lucky just knowin' how to turn the damn thing on and log on!

Anyway, here's a bump for you if that means anything!

(P.S. just got back from seeing Apocalypto and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!)

Zoomba,

Thanks very much for getting back to me about this. I'd not tried bumping as all my previous articles appear in the Forums without any problems. I will take your advice and 'bump' any article when I finish it.

Shovel,

Thanks for the movie recommendation, mate. I've read a little about this movie and heard good things. That you enjoyed says a lot. I will definitely check it out.

Elie,

Yeah, I've been around mate but not as regularly as I'd like. I'm planning on doing some serious blogging over my Christmas break (about 3 weeks off and I'm not looking forward to it, much ) Both Toni and I are doing very well, thanks for asking. Send me an email with your address, mate (dynamaso@gmail.com) as I love to send you and Colleen a Christmas card.

I haven't had that problem, at least I didn't the last time I post. Since I have you on my blog roll I usually enter from my list.

Hey Joe, glad to hear you enjoyed Apocalypto! I can't wait to see it myself. I was pondering waiting til dvd release but maybe I might see it over the holidays!

Hey Maso,

If I am not mistaken if you publish something with adult content it doesn't go to the forums.

I have been going through my favorites or the sidebar, but it takes me time to get to everyone. When I am on it is in about 15 minute increments.

Hope your weekend was great.

Serenity,

Yeah, it is a bit of problem. I'm going to take Zoomba's advice and bump my articles.

Kelly,

I've had other articles I've put up with 'adult content' selected and these have appeared in the forums. But this might be something new.

My weekend was very good, albeit too bloody short (as they all are). Hope you had a great one too.

I had just the opposite problem.  I found that if I marked it with Adult Content, even if it did not have it, that fixed that problem.  So I am not sure on yours, but Zoomba is wise!

Doc,

If anyone can sort it out, I'm sure it will be Zoomba. I've gone back and checked and I've confirmed what I though, i.e. by adult content articles are going onto the forums. I'll just have to bump as Zoomba suggested.

Whip,

Ah, yes, it certainly keeps things interesting, doesn't it?

You aren't holding your tongue in the correct position when you hit the submit button.
