Take a number and wait until you're called.

Christmas this year was spent interstate with my large family. It was a first for my wife, though. Being the only child in her family, she never experienced anything quite like our rowdy, chaotic, fun Chistmas day celebrations. We stayed with one of my brothers, drank too much on Christmas eve, woke (or rather were woken) far too early on Christmas morning, opened presents (I got a new digital camera - a Pentax, no less - will post pictures in due course), then went to my sister's home for lunch and more silliness. It was all good, though.

Tonight is New Year's eve and I've been thinking about some of the resolutions I'd like to make. I don't usually make resolutions because I don't see much point. If I want to stop a bad habit or get fit or whatever, I think I should be able to decide to do it whenever I want and be disciplined enough to carry out my plans. But having said that, there are some objectives I'd like to achieve this year. I won't bother boring anyone with what they are, but lets say they're not unreasonable so I shouldn't have a problem achieving them.

I want to take the opportunity to wish everyone here a very Happy New Year and hope you all have a great celebration and start to 2007. JU is like a second home to me and it is the users here who generate this feeling. Thanks to everyone who has commented, contacted and maintained a friendship with me throughout 2006. I value what you have given me and hope to return the favour in 2007.

I forgot to mention... Thanks to all those wonderful people who sent me a Christmas card: Tova, Serenity, Dharma, Inbloom & UDigit... If I forgot anyone, I'm sorry but I am getting old and my memory is not what it used to be

I resolve to try and piss off at least one person every day over the course of the next year. I'm pretty sure I can keep that one.

Happy New Year.

I'm pretty sure I can keep that one.

Ah, we'll wait and see. It is a pretty ambitious goal. Good luck with it Happy New Year to you too, mate.

Kelly,

We haven't got your card yet, but I'm sure it will be here soon. Either way, just knowing you sent one is more than enough for me. Hope you and the family are well and have a wonderful New Year's celebration.

Happy New year Maso and I'm glad you had a great christmas. Right now, it's "New Years Eve Eve" here and I'm planning on sitting up late on the couch with this laptop and watching Pirates of the Carribean that my son loaned me. No plans for tomorrow night 'cept to cook out and drink a few and see in 2007.

Cheers! And again: Happy New Year to you and yours!

Happy New Year, Maso.

I recently followed a link to your music (can't remember who posted it), and you all sound brilliant! I hope that 2007 brings you much success professionally, personally and musically.

Didn't watch Pirates of the Caribbean. I mean I started ti and then took it out after a few minutes -this movie wasn't for me! lol. Anyway, I'm commenting again because I wanted to ditto what Shades said:

Have a great 2007 Maso. I know I will.

Shades,

And to you and yours too. I am very pleased to hear you liked what you heard. I've been meaning to update those interested here on the latest with the band but haven't found the time yet. I would be more than happy to send you a CD, if you'd like one. We're giving them away at the moment to try to capitalise on our online success. Thanks again

Shovel,

I gotta say we went to see 'Pirates...' and while is a fun movie, it is not the sort I could watch again and again. Thanks again for your good wishes, mate. JC Ronikal is going to rule the airwaves in 2007...
