Take a number and wait until you're called.

It is said God, oh god, watches everywhere
If this is the case then what happened to my hair?
I had a great head about ten years ago
But now it flat out refuses to grow

I’ve also noticed something of great concern
If heaven and hell exist then I am doomed to burn
Because every demon I see is always bald
Unlike the hirsute Son of the Lord

But like that Alfred E. madman I refuse to worry
I’ve lived a good life and have done nothing to feel sorry
But before you go telling me what I need to do
Just please remember, Buddha is bald too.

Buddha is bald too.

...as well as fat. And he sits crosslegged like a girl. And he questions things like "why is there suffering?" and "why is there death?" And...and...

Heya Roy,

Thanks mate. Watch out cause I got a few more coming too.

I like this one.  Is it autobigraphical?  if so, you have my sympathies.  Although many today like the skin head look.

I hear it's big in Oz, too:

Someone has a patent on balding?

Doc,

The part about losing my hair is definitely autobiographical. Ten years ago, I had hair down to my shoulders. Long, beautiful hair, shining, gleaming, etc... I still have full coverage but the forest has thinned right out. As for the skinhead look, well, I don't think it would suit me.

I like this one

Thanks mate.

Gid,

Well, it certainly suits Pete Garrett, who just happens to be our local member of parliament. With the national elections coming up this weekend, I am hoping he will become a member of the ruling Labor government. This, of course, is dependant on whether the rest of Australia sees fit to end the current Liberal government's run. I am hoping so. Two days to go...

Whip,

Glad you liked it. I almost was going to add it to your Vogon poetry article, but I thought it was just a little too good to be considered bad, if you know what I mean.

Mason,

Someone has a patent on balding?

If they do, I'm gonna be sued because I never sought permission to use it.

Flaxen waxen - Long beautiful hair,......

There are worse things.  Like losing your muse.

But Give me a head of hair!

I know what you mean. My muse, thankfully, has just been on vacation while I've been really busy at work. She has come back full of beans and ready to rumble. I'm still trying to find the time to get everything down.

But Give me a head of hair!

I knew you'd understand where I was coming from. Let the sunshine in...

Yeah but our balding heads are more than made up for by our hairy ears and backs.

Donna,

Male bonding going on fellas?

Hey, this is a sad time for men. Not only do we have to acknowledge we are no longer the trim young men we were, but our hair, in disgust, abandons us to the elements. Its sad, I tell ya, sad...

Mason,

hairy ears and backs

My wife runs screaming from the room whenever she discovers a hair in my ear. They are buggers to pull out too.

I think Toni and Rose (my wife) are twins merely separated by half a world!  She got back sunday, and the first thing she did was start pulling those ear hairs!  And looking for the tweezers!
